The piece is a blistering fast piano phantasia. It conveys the mighty Behemoth of Biblical times in the light of something not only earth-shattering, but agile as well.
The piece is the fastest Baroque/Classical/Romantic piece I have made, at a bewildering 350 crochet M.M. (metronome marking). It is to be played very dramatically, with such fury that it is as if all the hatred in the player is pouring out and staining the very piano itself. It ends with a thrice-repeated cluster chord, symbolizing the footsteps of the beast as it is walking away.
