This is a relatively simple composition, a short partita written mainly in the key of F Major. It is comprised of a Gigue in F, a Sinfonia in A, an Air in E, a Minuet in F, and finally a Waltz in G. Each is short, about a minute and a half each, and most are meant to be for more rapid dance than the forms would usually call for. The piece is scored for harpsichord (though clavichord and virginal are fine, provided they have enough range) and runs about 6.5 minutes long.
