This is a prelude I wrote, in A minor, upon a theme long present in my mind and my works. People who know my music abnormally well will notice the theme is the same as the one I used in "Alone", back when I released Frayed Ends.
The subject of this prelude is meant to be personal and powerful: Loneliness, solitude, and isolation. As someone unnaturally intimate with the subject matter, my mind knew well how to convey it in music. So, I strived to write a piece that would let others know the intimate loneliness I experience. I wanted a piece that displayed it with power, and I believe this accomplished just that.
